A fire broke out at the rowing club in Whitlingham Lane, Trowse, today – but only minor damage was caused.
Fire crews from Carrow, Sprowston and Earlham attended the blaze from about 4.50pm, but James Belcher, from Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service, said it was not a big fire.
He said: 'It was limited to one section, at the back of the club. We are investigating the cause of the fire. There were no injuries. Some damage was caused to property inside the club, but there was no external damage.'
