Firefighters helped rescue a cat which was stuck on a roof in north Norfolk.
Norfolk Fire and Rescue took a call from a member of the public who had reported spotting a cat on a roof in North Walsham at 11.51am today (Saturday, December 15).
The fire service said their protocol was only to attend if they were asked to help animal charity the RSPCA.
And, later in the day, the RSPCA did ask firefighters to help rescue the cat from the Plantation Road roof.
At just after 4.45pm, a fire crew from North Walsham helped to get the over-adventurous feline down.
