Four fire crews tackled a blaze in the roof of a church in Aylsham in the early hours of this morning.
Appliances from Aylsham, North Walsham, Sprowston and Reepham attended the church in Gashouse Hill after a call at 4.57am.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire in the roof of the building using main and hose reel jets supplemented by a hydrant.
Nobody had to be rescued, and firefighters helped clear smoke from the building.
Crews were on scene for around an hour.
