Three fire crews have tackled a straw stack fire, believe to have been started deliberately, in a field off Church Lane in Stuston, near Diss.
The appliances, from Eye, Stradbroke and Diss, arrived at 9.23pm to find the straw stack completely alight.
The stack was allowed to burn under supervision and crews have maintained watch over the surrounding fields and hedgerows, damping them down to prevent the fire from spreading.
South Norfolk Police have said the initial opinion of the fire service was that the fire was started deliberately.
