Fire crews tackle blaze in gorse in Corton

Firefighters have tackled a fire in an area of gorse at Corton Cliffs earlier today.

Crews from Lowestoft South and North fire stations were among three vehicles, which also included a unimog fire vehicle, that attended the incident this morning.

Following acall, received at 10.15am today (April 16), the 1m by 2m fire was extinguished within an hour at 11.06am.

This incident follows another gorse fire earlier this weekend on Friday which saw crews attend a blaze at Gunton Warren.
