Firefighters from Lowestoft were called out twice in quick succession to deal with blazes.

A crew from Lowestoft South station were called to Gunton Church Lane just after 8pm last night (Tuesday) following reports of a fire, which was quickly dealt with as the scene was cleared by 8.25pm.

In the early hours of this morning (Wednesday) a crew from Lowestoft South fire station were called out following a blaze in North Cove.

After attending the scene at 1.26am the crew tackled a vehicle fire, which was put out within 30 minutes as the blaze was dealt with by 2am.
