Firefighters have put out a small fire at the Palm Paper plant in King's Lynn.
The alarm was raised just after 8.30am. Crews from King's Lynn, Downham Market and Terrington were sent to the plant on Poplar Avenue, at Saddlebow.
Crews using breathing appartus and hosereel jets took 40 minutes to put out what was described as 'more smoke than a full-blown fire', before spending an hour damping down afterwards. No-one is believed to have been injured.
The huge Palm plant, beside the tidal Ouse, turns waste paper into newsprint, recycling 450,000 tonnes a year.
But the factory has also seen a number of fires since it opened in 2010.
Most have not been serious. But a blaze at the mill in October 2016 took 80 firefighters to put out and cost the company £11m, Palm's annual report reveals.
Today the company said it had no comment to make about the latest fire.
