Firefighters were called out to deal with a fire at a former scout hut in Bunwell overnight.

The incident in the annexe of the building in Wood Lane happened at about midnight.

The former scout hut, which is now used by a local football team, is described as being about 20 metres by 10 metres in size and a single storey building.

Fire crews from Long Stratton and Attleborough attended the scene and they used hose reel jets and covering jets to put out the fire and a thermal image camera to check for hotspots.
