After a week transforming Norwich Cathedral's cloister into a setting for 17th century drama Tulip Fever, filming was last night set to begin.
An array of trees and greenery have been brought into the historic site to conjure up a backdrop for the film which tells the story of a married woman who begins a passionate affair with an artist hired to paint her portrait.
And as filming was due to begin last night some final additions to the set were brought into the cloister – two cows, some geese and some pigs.
Set in 17th century Amsterdam, Tulip Fever is based on the novel by Deborah Moggach, who also penned the Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.
