The filming of a dramatic new BBC television show is coming to an end after six days at the Mid-Norfolk Railway in Dereham.
Filming for the six-part drama The Bodyguard began in Dereham on Sunday and saw the cast and crew taking full advantage of the platforms and trains at the heritage railway station.
Local businesses and hotels also benefitted from visiting crew members and more than 100 extras.
George Saville, general director at the railway called the filming big for the railway and the town.
'It is a perfect location for contemporary drama and we are hoping it will lead to further work like this and bring more of the film industry to the area,' he said.
'The crew were staying in local hotels and generating business for the town. They started on Sunday and filmed for six days but they've been at the railway for around a month while they've been setting up sets, and preparing carriages.'
The show comes from the makers of the successful BBC show, Line Of Duty, and tells the fictional story of a war veteran now working as a Specialist Protection Officer for the Royalty and Specialist Protection Branch of London's Metropolitan Police Service.
The cast is led by Game of Thrones actor Richard Madden and Line of Duty star Keeley Hawes.
