Farmer helps out after Darsham crash

A FARMER this afternoon pitched in to help remove a minibus from the busy A12 after it was in collision with a car.

Police were called to the scene of the collision at 12.30pm today to the A12 near Darsham, between Halesworth and Leiston.

A spokeswoman for the police said the minibus was privately owned and was not being used by a school.

She said: 'There were no injuries and everybody was able to get out of the vehicles. The minibus was dragged out of the road by a farmer.'

The vehicles were recovered and traffic resumed to normal at 2.20pm.
