Year 11 students at Attleborough High attended their last day at school in fancy dress following extra revision sessions ahead of their GCSE exams.

The pupils remained in school right up until the half term break to ensure they benefited from extra tuition. On their final day, the school was an array of colour and excitement as every student donned a range of stunning fancy dress costumes to attend their final lessons.

Headteacher Neil McShane said: 'The Year 11 leaving day was exceedingly good natured and enjoyable. The students showed great maturity and good humour throughout the day; we are truly proud of them .We aim to give them a send off that acknowledges their time at our school and all the hard work they have carried out.'

The fancy dress competition was won by Jesse Baker for his 'The Mighty Boosh' impression and Lucy Wilby in her pink attire. Both were awarded free tickets to the school's forthcoming prom. The group winners were Tamzin Lam, Hayley Snelling, Rebecca Graham, Millie Carey, Megan Binks and Sarah Rapley in their 'where's Wally' team dress up.
