A family in Weston Longville could be without a home after losing an appeal for their Gypsy and Traveller pitch.
Jason Smith sought permission in 2017 to place a static caravan, a touring caravan and a facilities block on land off Honingham Road.
But Broadland District Council turned down the application in October last year due to it not being within 'reasonable' proximity to community facilities, and therefore not being sustainable.
The planning inspectorate has now upheld the council's decision following an appeal by Mr Smith.
Inspector David Murray said in his decision that the site had 'poor accessibility'.
He added: 'I acknowledge that if the appeal is dismissed there is a likelihood that the appellant and his family would lose their current home and there would be an interference with his human rights. However, such rights are qualified rights and have to be balanced with other factors.'
