Animal lovers will be able to learn all about tortoises at a special family-friendly summer event.
A Tortoise Open Day will be happening at Hethersett Village Hall on Back Lane (NR9 3JJ), on Sunday, July 1 from 10am-3pm.
Hosted by the Tortoise Club, a Norfolk-based non-profit voluntary group, it is raising money for welfare work carried out by the organisation.
Visitors will be able to meet giant and baby tortoises, information stands, tortoise health checks, rehoming advice, and volunteering information.
It will also include a raffle, tombola, games, bouncy castle, tea and cake, plant sale and tortoise club shop.
The family day is a cash-only event and care for tortoises will cost £5 for a mini health check, £5 for worming, and £15 for microchipping.
Owners must keep their tortoises in secure boxes.
