Yarmouth residents are being invited to a flood awareness roadshow in the Market Place from 10am to 4pm on Monday.
The aim of the event, being hosted by MP Tony Wright in conjunction with the Environment Agency and Anglian Water, is to help families reduce the impact of flooding like that which devastated areas of the town last autumn.
David Kemp, from the Environment Agency, said: “Our staff will be on hand to advise on flood prevention methods and our flood warning service.
“In addition, working with Norfolk Constabulary to help the minority communities living in Yarmouth, we have produced translations of our flood awareness booklets in Portuguese, Polish, Russian and Lithuanian. These booklets will be available on the day.”
