Fake 10 note reported in Holt

A fake 10 note has been reported in the Holt area.

Police are urging shoppers and retail outlets to be vigilant and check for tell-tale forgery signs which include paper of lesser quality, the metallic strip in the wrong place and the watermark of the Queen's head being smaller and of poorer quality.

They advise that suspicious notes or coins are taken to the bank for indentification. If the bank confirms that they are fake, contact the local safer neighbourhood team on sntholt@norfolk.pnn.police.uk or call the non emergency number 101.
