The busy B1077 Attleborough to Diss road was closed at Attleborough this morning after emergency services launched a full-scale response to a fire at the Grampian Country Food Group factory.
The busy B1077 Attleborough to Diss road was closed at Attleborough this morning after emergency services launched a full-scale response to a fire at the Grampian Country Food Group factory.
At 6.43am a fire was reported in the chimney of the factory, on Buckenham Road, and four crews were sent to the incident.
It was under control within the hour and contained to the boiler room, but all factory staff were evacuated as a precaution.
Police closed the B1077 Diss Road at 7.14am to prevent vehicles from passing the factory. It was expected to be reopened mid-morning.
