Volunteers have been praised for organising another fabulous event for the hundreds of people who enjoyed the North Walsham Christmas lights switch-on.
The town centre was filled with stalls and rides and there was entertainment from young singer Maisy Hart, NWHS choir, band Uncreative Love, Invidia Choir, with the Salvation Army leading the carol singing and singer Ellie Diss.
Father Christmas made an appearance on his sleigh before making his way to his grotto.
Chairman of the Christmas lights group Colin Jeary said: "It takes a year's worth of planning to organise the event and six Sunday mornings to erect all the lights before the switch-on.
"We are very lucky to have recruited several new volunteers this year which has meant the lights have gone up quicker.
"We have also been able to introduce lights into St Nicholas Court, an area of the town which hasn't had lights for over 10 years, as well as new features and a Coke Truck with LED message display on the trailer."
Each year around 250 volunteer hours are spent on the town's lights.
People took to social media to praise the event with comments such as "lovely seeing the children's faces", "wonderful turn-out and fabulous atmosphere" and "proud to be a resident of the town". The lights switch-on was performed at 6pm by the Funday's Carnival Queen Chloe Kidd.
