Town councillors have called an extraordinary meeting to discuss controversial plans to overhaul a Cromer park.
Cromer Town Council will meet on May 10 at 7pm for the debate about the future of North Lodge Park, which is the subject of a 197,000 North Norfolk District Council revamp plan.
At the town council's last meeting on April 16, some members expressed disquiet that the plans had been made public and debated by NNDC before they had been given a chance to comment.
The planned overhaul includes an all-age gym and children's play area at the former Kiddies' Corner, which is currently being used as a temporary skatepark. The current public toilets would be closed and given to Seaview Pre-School, with new toilets built near the play area.
The putting greens and bowling green would close, to become a public open space and a garden to commemorate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
