In March the chief schools adjudicator agreed to a proposal by Wymondham College to expand its sixth form under the government's Successful and Popular Schools Initiative.
The school at Morley St Peter has submitted a planning application for a new sixth form centre with boarding and day facilities for larger Year 12 and Year 13 groups.
