Visitors to the Royal Norfolk Show’s new Horticulture Show have been enjoying a blooming wonderful array of colourful displays.
Cleverly designed in the shape of a tree, the new-look area branches out into a variety of different spaces packed full of inspiration galore for gardening enthusiasts.
Show gardens range from stunning idyllic masterpieces by professional designers to wonderfully creative gardens made by schoolchildren, and those that venture inside the Norfolk and Norwich Horticultural Society’s marquee are treated to a rainbow of beautiful blooms from roses to orchids and fuchsias alongside prize fruit and vegetables. Amazing floral arrangements by flower groups pay tribute to the Suffragette movement and the 100th anniversary of women winning the right to vote as well as the centenary of the RAF, meanwhile youngsters have been showing off their creativity with arrangements inspired by myths and legends.
Among the many other highlights in the Horticulture Show was the Norfolk Growing Stage featuring a programme of cookery and food-related events.
