A butcher's tribute was among the winners at the annual Aylsham In Bloom traders' competition.
Mike Owers, project manager for the walled garden at Blickling, was the judge, and spokeswoman Linda Riseborough said: "The standard of planting and displays is getting better every year so it needed someone with a professional knowledge to choose the winners.
"The extensive and various planting, baskets and boxes (and train) at Bure Valley Railway was the winner of the Floral Plaque for the best display, with the Unicorn pub and Carousel Chocolates receiving Highly Commended certificates.
"The best Inside Out representation, for the best external floral display that reflects the business inside the building, was G F White, butchers, which just had the edge with its tribute to Peter White, who died earlier this year.
"Richard's Hair Design and Aylsham Vets both received highly commended certificates."
