Enjoy the classics with a musical twist

A group who aim to bring classical music to the masses are set to perform in north Norfolk.
Students from Stalham High School will be playing host to world renowned group Graffiti Classics on Wednesday, March 23.
The group, who describe themselves as a classical music comedy cabaret show, are a combination of 16 strings, eight dancing feet and four voices with one aim - to make classical music accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
A spokesman from the school's Young Music Promoters group, said the hope was it would change people's perception of classical music.
They added: 'We have been working extremely hard to organise every aspect of this gig, from marketing to front of house, we even have an artist liaison for the night.'
Graffiti Classics was founded in 1997 by Cathal O'Duill. Whilst street-performing in Covent Garden, London he realised that classical music could be made fun for any audience through interaction and comedy.
The group regularly performs all over the world including at venues from Taiwan to Dublin. Their varied work also takes them from festivals, cruise-ships and concert halls to prisons, hospitals and schools; from weddings and parties to theatres and corporate events.

They have also performed on the BBC children's variety show Hoopla! presented by Dick and Dom.
The group will be going to the school during the day on March 23 and hosting interactive workshops and then come back in the evening for a public performance.
Mr O'Duill said: 'We like to get everyone involved with show and encourage audience participation.'
A local independent group, Detour, who have performed in multiple school music competitions, will be a support act at the event.
Tickets for the event are £4 for adults, £3 for children under-11 in advance.
On the door it will be £6 for adults and £4 for under-11s. Doors open at 6.30pm.
