The British Minigolf Association's (BMGA) English Open will return to Wroxham Barns' 18-hole minigolf course for the second time in three years next month.

On Sunday, June 5, the tournament will comprise of three rounds, starting at 9.30am.

Sean Homer, chairman of BMGA, said: 'I am delighted that we are returning to Wroxham Barns for the third year following the English Open in 2009 and British Championships in 2010.

'All of the players who entered the competitions were full of praise for the course, the surroundings and the welcome we received from the team who run the barns.'

The tourist hot spot opened its minigolf course in August 2008 and Ian Russell, director of Wroxham Barns, is pleased it has been a success, saying: 'We're really looking forward to welcoming the British Minigolf Association back to Wroxham Barns. The golf course is proving a real hit with visitors. It is great fun, but is also very challenging.'

Local golfers are welcome to enter the event. The entry fee is �20, entry forms can be downloaded from www.minigolf.org.uk, or by calling 07910 243841.
