Emergency services called to north Norwich after driver and cyclist collide

A cyclist escaped injury after an accident with a car this morning.

The accident happened on Bull Close Road junction off Silver Road, and emergency services were notified at 6.43am.

Both Norfolk Police and East of England Ambulance Service sent staff to the scene.

The cyclist suffered a 'very slight injury' according to a spokesman for Norfolk Police.

The road, which was partially blocked in the immediate aftermath of the incident, is open as usual.
