Emergency services were called to a fire on the ground floor of a home in Harleston.

Fire crews from Long Stratton, Diss, and Harleston were sent to Titlow Road at 11.15pm yesterday.

They wore breathing apparatus and used main and hose reel jets to extinguish the flames.

A fire service spokesman said an ambulance was also dispatched following reports of a person trapped inside, but it was later stood down.

No one was said to have been injured.
