Police, firefighters and paramedics were called to an address in Norwich this morning because of concerns about the safety of a man.
The ambulance service called police to the property in Elizabeth Fry Road, in west Norwich, at 5.05am.
A crew of firefighters was also sent to the scene.
A police spokesman said there were fears that the man could harm himself.
He said the man was detained at about 7.30am, and the incident was resolved safety, and no-one was injured.
