Emergency plans will be tested during an exercise at Norwich Airport tomorrow evening.
Airport employees as well as staff from Norfolk Constabulary, Norfolk Fire Service, East of England Ambulance Service, British Red Cross and local authorities will be involved in the exercise.
It is being held to so multi-agency working can be practiced and evaluated during the exercise.
Mel Gray, airport facilities manager said: 'These plans are best validated through emergency exercises and we are grateful that in Norfolk there is a commitment from the emergency services and other emergency responders to work together in this way.'
The airport is required to undertake a large scale exercise every two years in accordance with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
Norwich Airport currently employs 250 people and has nine scheduled airlines and charter operators flying to and from it.
