A north Norfolk complex needs school was forced to close today, despite managing to stay open during the worst of the snow.
Sidestrand Hall School saw almost all of its pupils make it to their classrooms yesterday, but had to close today because a fuse box melted.
Headteacher Sarah Macro said the problem was 'nothing to do with the weather, but because it's an old building'.
She said: 'We always stay open as long as the transport can get them here. But the problem with the fuse box means only parts of the school are heated. It's enough for the staff, but not for the children. It's frustrating, but we expect to be open on Wednesday.'
