Elderly woman rescued by fire and ambulance services after fall in Sheringham

A woman in her 80s had to be rescued from a Sheringham address after she fell and broke her hip.
The Norfolk Fire Services were called to the scene to help the ambulance extract the woman from the property so she could be treated and taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
A spokesperson for the fire services confirmed: 'One appliance from Sheringham attended within seven minutes of being called, arriving at 10.20am.'
