Great Yarmouth College students and staff have been posting Valentine notes to their college.
As part of the New Anglia Colleges Group joint marketing initiative, students were given badges and invited to leave sticky notes explaining why they love college. Student wellbeing and support was a re-occurring theme; many students declaring how well supported they felt.
Principal Stuart Rimmer: 'I am really pleased to read these 'love notes'. They are testament to the efforts we make to put student wellbeing at the heart of everything we do. Never has this been more important - with recent reports of mental illness in our young on the increase. We have a vital part to play in looking after and nurturing out students.'
Taila Wiltshire, 17, student union president at the college, said: 'Staff make time to listen and you can take your friends to speak to the wellbeing and safeguarding team if they need advice.'
