A trust which educates children with social, emotional and mental health problems has launched training sessions for Norfolk schools.
The Engage Trust, which runs the Short Stay School for Norfolk, held the first of a series of sessions with the Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust looking at behaviour management and mental health support.
The sessions - the first of which was attended by more than 30 staff members from 20 schools - are for schools who work with its child support team, which is delivered through Engage Educational Services, its trading arm.
Stu Lee, EES company manager, said: 'We are committed to supporting Norfolk schools to be more inclusive and avoid the need for permanent exclusions. This training is the first step in a programme of support which we are offering to schools across the county.'
