Three primary schools in Waveney are hoping to hit the back of the net with a sporting award.
The Active Learning Trust schools have all been shortlisted for the Suffolk Primary School PE and sport premium impact award.
The schools - Red Oak and Reydon Primary schools from the Lowestoft area and Albert Pye Community Primary School from Beccles - have been shortlisted for the county sports award, which is sponsored by Ipswich Borough Council.
People can now vote for a winner online as the award is given to a Suffolk primary school which demonstrates an innovative and impactful use of their PE and Sport Premium, provides evidence of their offering, encourages pupils of all abilities to take part in sports, has teachers delivering the PE curriculum and educates pupils on the importance of being healthy.
Clive Bush, acting chief executive officer of The Active Learning Trust, said: "We are delighted that three of our primary schools have been shortlisted for the Suffolk sports awards.
"As a Trust, we strive for excellence in everything we do and it is fantastic to see our schools being recognised for the quality of their sporting provisions.
"Sports is a key part of the curriculum, providing young people with opportunity to get active and have a positive impact on both their physical and mental health."
Albert Pye Primary School holds 25 weekly clubs with 80 per cent of pupils regularly attending one.
Figures show 70 per cent of pupils have represented the school competitively over the last year, with A, B and C teams competing against other schools.
As the only UK school to have 'pedalling classrooms,' Red Oak Primary School has experienced a rapid transformation in the last few years and now 100 per cent of students attend extra-curricular sports.
The school introduced B teams to be more inclusive of students with a variety of abilities and has now become a pentathlon partnership school. Overall, the school has won 100 championships in the last five years.
Reydon Primary School offers a range of sporting activities and last year 98 per cent of students attended a sports club or tournament.
The school also promotes physical activity in the curriculum placing a strong emphasis on 'active learning'.
