Teachers from across the region met at a Thorpe school to share experience and best practice.

The Chartered College of Teachers held the event at Thorpe St Andrew School and Sixth Form earlier this month.

Led by Dr Tim O’Brien, a senior lecturer at University College London, the teachers travelled to the school to share thoughts and experience.

Ian Clayton, principal of the school and chief executive of its Yare Education Trust, said: “It is a real privilege for the trust to be hosting this major event at our training centre for teachers across the eastern region.

“Staff wellbeing is a key element across the Yare Education Trust and it is one of the main reasons staff choose to work in one of the six schools and make the trust their employer of choice.”

The Chartered College of Teachers is led by Dame Alison Peacock and shares teacher knowledge and expertise through research.
