Pupils at a Norwich school have enjoyed learning about writing from The Woman in Black author Susan Hill.
The writer paid a visit to Norwich High School For Girls today as part of the school's Winter Arts Festival. She gave a talk to Norwich High pupils and guests from other schools.
'I hope to have inspired the young writers among them to take the chance and follow their dreams,' she said.
Norwich High is presenting an array of arts events, include a dance and music showcase on Friday which will also mark the school's 140th birthday.
Headmaster Jason Morrow said: 'We are all thoroughly enjoying our Winter Arts Festival which is an opportunity to celebrate and showcase the talent of the girls as well as to invite in the local community to share in the festival.'
