Globe-trotting youngsters at Sheringham Primary School learned about countries from Morocco, Mexico and Malaysia, to Nepal, New Zealand and Nigeria, as part of a multi-cultural week.
The annual event kicked off with an Olympics-style opening ceremony, followed by round-the-world-themed events including food tastings, a visit from an African storyteller and Greek dancing workshops with Andreas Yiasimi, whose family runs the Constantia restaurant at East Runton.
Friday's talent show finale saw each class give a performance based around their chosen country.
Reception youngsters, who spent the week learning about the customs and culture of Morocco, drew thunderous applause from an audience of staff and pupils for their rendition of the song Alice the Camel.
Year 1 performances ranged from a St Lucia-themed musical number complete with hand-made maracas and carnival costumes, to a dance to the Beach Boys' song Surfin' USA by pupils dressed as Disney characters, the Statue of Liberty and the American flag.
Other performances included an account of Everest expeditions and this year's earthquake in Nepal by a Year 4 class, a Maori Haka dance by a Year 3 class dressed as All Blacks rugby players and indigenous New Zealanders, and a Year 3 production of the song La Cucaracha featuring Mexican dancers, musicians and a clutch of cockroaches.
Head teacher Dominic Cragoe said: 'In a rural area, it is sometimes difficult for children to access other cultures.'
