Swaffham-opoly and a Great British Bake Off board game were just some of the creations made by inventive youngsters as they took on a design challenge over the summer holidays.
Pupils at Sacred Heart Convent School in Swaffham have been praised for their creativity after they were tasked to design their own family game over the six-week break.
Children from year one right through to year 11 took part in the competition and came up with indoor and outdoor games, including ones called Dragon's Treasure, Flowers and Bees, Fill Your Plate and Car Logo Bingo.
Sister Francis Ridler, headteacher at Sacred Heart, said she had been impressed with the youngsters' 'lateral thinking'.
'It's just amazing that they can design something to the standard they have done – some look like they are bought games, with their own packaging components and rules.
'We've had a Swaffham-opoly, a Great British Bake Off board game with lots of recipes and one pupil took an old board game and recycled the whole thing.
'Some of them look really professional and I'm absolutely delighted with the results. They have all worked really hard.'
The school gives its pupils a task to do every summer.
The board games were judged by Henchman's toy shop owner Keith Sandle.
