A national strike by some university and college staff today closed the Sainsbury Centre at the University of East Anglia, but was otherwise reported to have caused minimal disruption.
The UEA said the library operated on a largely self-service basis, but other campus services and buildings were 'open and operating as normal'.
The Norwich University of the Arts said there was no disruption to learning or teaching, and City College Norwich said there was no disruption to students' learning.
The dispute centres on a 1pc pay offer from employers, and today was the second day of strike action.
