A children's author has joined youngsters in west Norfolk to officially open two new school libraries.
Steve Skidmore visited All Saints Academy, in Stoke Ferry, and St Martin at Shouldham Primary on Friday to open the libraries.
Mr Skidmore, a former teacher of drama, English and film, has co-written more than 200 books with Steve Barlow as part of The Two Steves.
Katherine Howe, executive headteacher of both schools, said: 'We are delighted that Steve Skidmore has spent the day at our schools entertaining children and opening our libraries.
'The children know his books well and were very excited about the prospect of meeting him in person.
'His infectious enthusiasm and zest for learning will stay with them for a long time.'
She thanked the Friends of All Saints for their fundraising efforts and said the children had been 'enthralled' by Mr Skidmore.
The schools are both part of the Diocese of Ely Multi-Academy Trust.
