A small primary school has been praised for its harmonious environment in an Ofsted report.
Rocklands Primary School received a “good” rating from inspector Susan Aykin in a March inspection.
Ms Aykin said of the pupils: “They are both kind and respectful towards each other. As a result, pupils are able to learn in a harmonious environment.”
Executive headteacher Julie Dekker said: “We are delighted that Ofsted considers us to be a good school. We are so proud of our children, the good progress that they make and their excellent attainment.
“We would like to thank the many people in our community who help our small school achieve great things.”
The report said Mrs Dekker and deputy headteacher Steven Ginn have ensured that pupils develop strong learning behaviours that will enable them to be “productive, happy and fulfilled citizens of 21st century Britain”.
