A junior school is celebrating its 50th anniversary by inviting old pupils to share their memories.

On September 10, 1958 Robert Kett Junior School opened its doors for the first time to the children of Wymondham and the surrounding area.

Mrs Alison Clarke, school head teacher, said: 'We are hoping to reach out to as many people as possible, whether you are a past pupil, member of staff or Governor.

'We are particularly looking for pupils who may have been at the school in the first ten years between 1968 and 1978.'

Celebrations will include an open afternoon and tea party at the school on September 10.

Mrs Clarke said: 'We'd love to hear from any past pupils, members of staff or anyone who has been affiliated with the school over the years and who has any special memories that you'd like to share with us.'
