Students from high schools and colleges in Norwich have bid for £10,000 for projects to improve the city's social mobility.
The Norwich Opportunity Area Youth Board, chaired by Norwich North MP Chloe Smith, launched the challenge in January, offering young people the chance to develop a new project.
Their aim was to help raise young people's aspirations and boost social mobility, a measure of how someone improves their life chances.
The teams presented their ideas on Friday, with pupils from Sewell Park Academy impressing judges with their student exchange idea, which would involve youngsters in areas with high social mobility.
Sir Isaac Newton Sixth Form presented Pathways to Success, a website designed to link young people with experts, while Hewett Academy suggested a programme of community workshops.
The judges will announce who will receive the money on Friday, March 16.
