Norwich School's speech day was held at Norwich Cathedral at the weekend.
Members of the school community gathered in the historic city landmark on Saturday afternoon for the event where head master Steffan Griffiths spoke of the school's strong exam results that he said reinforced the school's reputation as a provider of invigorating teaching and learning across the curriculum. He also thanked the school's teaching staff for their dedication and expertise.
The school's first female head of school, 18-year-old Elle Tivey, from Barton Turf, gave a speech with the deputy heads of school which gave a summary of achievements and highlighted how pupils' enthusiasm and hard work had resulted in some special successes. Prize winners from the senior school were also announced during the event.
Henry Cator, the High Sheriff of Norfolk, was the guest speaker.
He said: 'It is so nice to be involved in events where young people show such talent.'
