Staff, governors, parents, carers and pupils at a north Norfolk school are delighted it has maintained its 'Good' Ofsted rating.
Inspectors at Swanton Abbott Community Primary school in Youngman's Lane drew attention to the headteacher's leadership skills, dedication and drive for school improvement.
Pupils were congratulated on their attitude to learning and the report said: 'The school provides an all-round educational experience in a delightful setting with parents saying they would be keen to recommend the school to other parents. One parent stated, 'An amazing little school where all of the pupils are happy and thriving both emotionally and academically'.'
Next steps for the school include ensuring there are more opportunities for pupils to apply their mathematical reasoning skills in real life contexts.
It was the first short inspection carried out since the school was judged to be 'Good' in June 2014. The school has 99 pupils on roll.
