Pupils at a north Norfolk school created a poignant tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice during the First World War.
Year 9 children at Gresham's School in Holt recreated the trenches and battlefields using materials of their choice.
The winning entry was by Leila Yuasa, 13, who made her trench and No Man's Land with wood, foam, matches, coiled wire and shredded wheat.
She said: 'It was a great project to get involved in and made me think about the vastness of the land and the conditions the men fought in.'
The project follows a trip the pupils made to Ypres in commemoration of the centenary of the Battle of Passchendaele.
They visited trench systems, learned about medical treatment on the front line at Essex Farm, visited the site of the first gas attack on the Western Front and witnessed the Last Post Ceremony at the Menin Gate.
