Hundreds of students around the region will today open their all-important A-level results envelopes.

Today, students at sixth forms and colleges around the country will discover more about their next steps - whether it's embarking on a university course, entering the world of work, starting an apprenticeship or setting off on a number of other paths.

We'll be updating this live list of results as they come in during the day. The headline figure is the percentage of A* to C grades, and the results will appear alphabetically, with figures in brackets indicating last year's results.

It is always difficult to compare like for like, but gives an indication of progress.

You can search our table to find out how your school or college did, or see our interactive map of results.
