High school appoints a new set of head pupils for the year

A brand new batch of head pupils have been appointed at a mid-Norfolk school.

Neatherd High School in Dereham, has appointed a new head boy and head girl, Adam Littleproud and Amber Macey.

Adam said: “I feel incredibly proud that I was selected for this amazing opportunity.

“I am looking forward to everything this role will bring with it, including representing the school at presentations and getting involved in making changes.”

Captains and deputy captains were also selected for the school houses.

Sandra Manning, assistant headteacher, said: “This years’ team of head people and house captains are keen to support the school in moving forward.

“They will be working closely with the staff on rewards, teaching and learning as well as numerous other projects.

“We can’t wait to hear their ideas and begin to work with them.”
