The headteacher of a Norwich school has told of her delight after it retained its 'Outstanding' rating.

Inspectors visited Mousehold Infant and Nursery School, on Mousehold Avenue, in July and found that provisions for pupils were outstanding across the board.

The school scored the highest grading in each of the five Ofsted inspected areas, reinforcing the efforts made to maintain its rating from the 2008 inspection.

Headteacher Rachael Judd said: 'We are delighted that this latest inspection recognises the exemplary work of our staff, children, parents, governors and the wider community.

'We feel very proud of what everyone at our school and nursery has achieved and will continue to build upon our successes and enrich the lives of the children.'
