How did your school or college get on in this year's GCSE results?

Hundreds of students across Norfolk and Waveney will be opening their all-important results envelopes.

We have been keeping a live list of results, which is being updated as results come in, and you can also explore our interactive map.

Students in the county battled back against a shake-up in GCSEs last year to achieve good results and school leaders are hoping for a similarly strong performance in 2019.

John Fisher, cabinet member for children's services at Norfolk County Council, said: "Congratulations to the students across Norfolk who are receiving their GCSE results today. Their achievements are down to years of hard work and dedication throughout their school careers.

"I would also like to recognise the important role that Norfolk's teachers, parents and carers have played in helping to achieve these results.

"Students have an exciting range of options open to them, from further study at A-Level to work-based placements with an apprenticeship. I would encourage anyone who is unsure about what to do next to use the advice and guidance available to them.

"From the results that have already come in I am excited and encouraged by what we have seen today and I want to wish Norfolk's next generation the best of luck with whatever they do next. We should continue to have high aspirations for education at any age in Norfolk and these results are a key part of that."
