Youngsters will benefit from the traffic-free areas of Holkham Estate to learn how to cycle safely.

As part of its school visit programme, Holkham Estate will be offering school children safe cycling tuition in Holkham Park, in partnership with the Norfolk County Council and Norfolketc.

The programme will provide level one cycling for free to visiting schools utilising the bikes available on site, and promote opportunities for children who do not have their own bikes or schools that do not have suitable outdoor areas.

Hannah Darby from Norfolketc commented: “We are really pleased to lend our bikes and helmets through Holkham’s school visits programme, as we are passionate about getting the whole community cycling.

“The physical and mental health benefits of getting out on a bike in the fresh air are huge and we believe every young person should have the opportunity to give it a go.”
